Opening Friday July 7, 2017 - Sunday Oct. 8, 2017 California's Wild Edge: The Coast in Prints, Poetry and History Capturing the beauty of the California coast from Mendocino to Santa Monica, artist Tom Killion's Japanese-style woodcut prints combine exquisite color with dynamic composition to portray the coast's ever-changing moods. Complementary writings include those by Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Gary Snyder and other past and present California writers. The exhibit is supplemented with traditional Japanese Ukiyo-e woodcuts once owned by Frank Lloyd Wright from the Placer Partners collection. California's Wild Edge: The Coast in Prints, Poetry, and History was originated by the San Francisco Public Library and artist Tom Killion, is traveled by Exhibit Envoy, and is based on the Heyday books publication of the same name. www.gracehudsonmuseum.org
