Welcome to Gualala

It's a name tht's hard to pronounce and even harder to spell. The locals say "wa-LA-la." It's like a private retreat when you need to relax and have fun. Just imagine...you, the beach, the redwood trees and a few whales playing off shore. And you'll love the people. They are peaceful and happy, and lucky you for this state of being is infectious! You may even see a famous Gualala sunset...some say there's an exotic "green flash." In the summer, the river is a favorite for swimmers, sunbathers, picnickers, canoeists and kayakers.
